As the holiday season is upon us, it gives us all an opportunity to pause and reflect on the good, positive things that are going on all around us that we should appreciate and be thankful for. Sometimes we get hung up on the negative because it surrounds us in news articles and television. Unfortunately, negative news sells papers.
I am thankful to have lived in Colstrip for over 47 years and have served our City now for over 20 years. I am thankful for the many organizations that serve our residents:
The Colstrip Medical Center - It’s caregivers, staff and board.
The Colstrip School District - Its staff, board and all the wonderful teachers that work with our most valuable resource, the children of our community.
The Colstrip Park & Recreation District - Its staff and board.
