Ryan Reid

Ryan was born and raised in Miles City Montana and graduated from college in Jamestown North Dakota. He has been married to his wife June since 1980 and has 3 children, Kala, Colton, and Collin.

He worked as an Air Traffic Controller and spent 10 summers fighting wild land fire on engine crews, helitack crews and dispatching. He also spent 10 seasons working as a smokejumper in the western part of the U.S. based out of McCall Idaho.

Ryan taught school in Whitefish Montana for 11 years and then moved to Colstrip to run Reid's Lumber yard in 1995.

He joined the Colstrip Volunteer Fire Department in 1996 became Chief in 2004.

Ryan has also been involved in the community as a wrestling coach and other various activities.
